National School Games J&K State girls finish runners up in quater final | KNO

63RD school national games J&K U-19 girls football team went down in the hands of utter Pradesh to finish runners up in the U-19 Girls Football Tournament which was a part of the 63rd National School Games at Mumbai. J&K team secured dominating wins in the group stage matches and enters quarter final first time in history but lost match against UP. Total teams participated 24 but J&K came into top 8.

J&k football coach Nadiya nighat said I am very much happy to see our team in top 8 list girls played very well but unfornuatnate we lost Match. Jammu Kashmir team led by Kashmir’s first female football coach and Nadiya Nighat who hails from Rambagh area of Kashmir capital Srinagar.This is the first time when majority of the women footballers from Kashmir participated in 63RD school games Nadiya is the first player from Kashmir Valley who represent the team as coach.
